Denim Day is April 23: Wear Jeans to Support Victims of Sexual Assault

Counseling and Wellness Services will be hosting the annual Denim Day, organized this year by Social Work capstone student, Kaylee Eldrede.

Empowered in Denim: Breaking the Silence on Sexual Assault
Tuesday, April 23
11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Ada County Center Pintail Building (APIN), Student Commons

Come learn the history of this important day, spin the trivia wheel, sign the Denim Day pledge, interact with local organizations that support victims of sexual violence, and win prizes. On-site organizations will include FACES, WCA, Nampa Family Justice Center, and Advocates Against Family Violence.

Chat with CWI’s counseling staff and representatives from the Social Work, Psychology, and Q&A clubs. Lorainne Draper, Social Work student and registered yoga instructor, will also be available to discuss the healing impact of yoga.
